Easy Installation Water Tastes Great

The compact design is great, and the install was overall easy. The installation video is very helpful. The only issue I had was after waiting 40 minutes and then drain the tank, the water just trickled out like others have posted. I assumed that there was still air in the lines so I opened and closed the faucet a few times waiting a few minutes in between the cycles. Suddenly you could hear the wastewater begin to drain out… I did not hear this at all during the 40 minute wait time.. so it actually wasnt filling the first time around. So, I waited another 40 minutes and the waste water sound stopped the tank was full! I opened the faucet and it flowed properly! All is good now. Its been working perfectly since and water tastes great.

Great Tasting Water But Terribly Slow

The water from this unit tastes simply perfect! Unfortunately the flow rate is insanely slow. If youre filling a big glass, best to put the glass in the sink, turn on the faucet, and do a small chore. Dislikes

• There are enough complaints about the low flow rate to make it worth mentioning and noting before you buy.
• We love reverse osmosis because of how powerful the filtration is, however, we prefer reverse osmosis with remineralization. You may want to consider installing an inline mineral filter cartridge as the final stage in your system to make your RO water alkaline. Why do this? Most people prefer the taste of alkaline water, and demineralized RO water is usually slightly acidic.
• The 40-minute waiting period between tank refills may be a dealbreaker for large families or if you need more water on demand.
• 4-stage filtration is adequate, yet its fewer stages than quality RO systems on the market that cost less. If you have iron-rich well water and need heavy sediment reduction, there are better options with more frequent sediment filter changes than every 6 months.
