The shows are entertaining family fun! However, we recommend taking in a show in the afternoon hours. The Busch Gardens app has all the showtimes and daily performances listed out, so you can decide which events you want to go to as you plan out your day in the park.

Great Park Bad Annual Membership Policy

DO NOT BUT AN ANNUAL PASS. It automatically renews!!. This year mine automatically renewed during the black Friday sale, but they refused to give me the sale price because my pass renewed at a membership price which is higher. Total RIP off!! I feel like they stole $120 from me. The sales person on the phone refused to do anything to make the situation better.

THIS COMPANY IS HAPPY TO TAKE MONEY FROM DISABLED VETS WITHOUT PROVIDING ANYTHING IN RETURN. If I could give 0 stars I would. Im a disabled vet and brought my family from out of state to go to the park. Its closed all day on the day we were going to go. Thats really unfortunate, but not the reason for the bad review. I called in advance to explain that this was a one time trip and asked for a refund because the park isnt open normal hours and the rides have been closed. Customer Service was rude and dismissive, arguing with me that I should just return a different time even though they knew this was a special family trip from out of state. This was not only the initial ambassador, but also her supervisor . In my opinion, this company is happy to pretend to support veterans while in reality, taking their money for nothing. Some people might call that fraud or theft, I certainly wouldnt argue to the contrary. If youre a vet, I would encourage you to boycott companies like this that use discounts to sucker you out of your money.

Dress For The Season And The Rides

What you should wear to Busch Gardens depends on what time of year you visit the park. Summers are hot and humid in Williamsburg while you would need to dress in layers if visiting during the holiday season to see their Christmas town or around Halloween for their Howl-O-Scream event.

Keep in mind if you plan to go on any of the water rides, like Escape from Pompeii or Le Scoot, quick-drying clothes are a much better option than denim or 100% cotton, which tends to stay wet longer. One of our Busch Gardens Williamsburg tips is to save water rides for last, so you arent walking around the park wet all day.
