Sandals Royal Caribbean All Inclusive Overwater Bungalows
The second of the two overwater bungalow resorts in Jamaica is the equally luxurious, and also all inclusive and couples only, Sandals Royal Caribbean. It is smaller than Sandals South Coast, quieter and more intimate, being set on its own private island near Sangster International Airport and Montego Bay.
They have a nice choice of accommodation from more standard rooms and suites to their gorgeous overwater bungalows. They have different amounts of space and luxury features and come in various price ranges with of course the overwater bungalows being the most luxurious, and therefore most expensive.
These overwater bungalows were not only Jamaicas but the Caribbeans first and made quite a splash when they were first opened. Not just for their over water villa concept but also for their sheer sense of opulence and luxury.
They have over 1000 square feet of space and are superbly designed with quality furniture and fittings and luxury modern features.
Infinity style plunge pools, super plush bathrooms with bathtubs, glass panels in the floors, an exclusive private butler service, and room service menus that can deliver a whole range of dining options and other services direct to your room 24 hours.

Located in the culturally rich but much lesser-traveled South Pacific destination of Samoa, Coconuts Beach Club Resort and Spa is located on Upolu’s southern coast where you’ll experience incredible sunrises and sunsets.
The intimate resort offers only overwater fales with six indoor-outdoor accommodations boasting spectacular views of the beaches, lagoon, and ocean. Each has a large sun deck, expansive bedroom with a King bed, and a high traditional Samoan ceiling. Private decks can be closed off with sliding glass doors for privacy and the use of AC. Open-air bathrooms have sunken tubs and waterfall showers. There are no phones or TVs, just total peace.

The newest Jamaica overwater bungalows opened in December 2017. There are 12 honeymoon overwater bungalows that form the shape of a heart. This has to be the best-designed overwater bungalow pattern and is perfect for those planning a Jamaica honeymoon.
Sandals South Coast is one and a half hours from the Montego Bay International airport. Once you arrive, youll be greeted by your personal butler. The butlers at Sandals Resorts are the best. They want to make sure you have the best vacation of your life. If you are in full vacation mode, let them unpack for you while you explore the 50-acre property.
Both Sandals Jamaica overwater bungalows have the same #Sandalssuite life with 24-hour butler service. Youll be provided with a smartphone so you can get ahold of your butlers whenever you want. Pros: This hotel is surrounded by incredibly unspoiled natural beauty with no crowds in sight.
Cons: Tikehau is remote don’t expect to get there in a fast jaunt from Tahiti’s international airport. You’ll need time.
Even by Tahitian standards, this resort’s remote location might be as close as you ever get to living that Robinson Crusoe life.
Totally unspoiled with screensaver views in every direction, Tikehau Island places you away from the over-saturated crowds of honeymooners on Bora Bora while still indulging in overwater accommodation luxury.

Located within the adults only resort El Dorado Maroma near Cancun, Palafitos Overwater Bungalows are ideal for couples. This all-inclusive Riviera Maya hotel has 30 chic overwater bungalows.

Sandals South Coast Whitehouse Jamaica
Sandals has a number of Jamaican properties, but the only other one with overwater bungalow selections is Sandals South Coast, which also happens to be one of the newest of the brands resorts. The overwater villas here were built in the formation of a heart, which adds to their romance factor. They have the same overall layout as the above-mentioned property just a different locale.
Like other Sandals properties, this resort is also adults-only and all-inclusive including as many activities as you would like to do. Butler service is included. Just let them know if youd like your luggage unpacked or your clothes ironed upon arrival. Everything at this five-star resort is luxe. Even the minibar is stocked with premium booze. One of the only things not included are treatments at the signature Red Lane Spa but these are worth paying extra for.

Check The Availability Calendar And Be Flexible
When you go to the Sandals website you can enter any dates to search for availability. Most likely youll see the overwater bungalows at the bottom of the list and itll say SOLD OUT. But there will be a little button you can click to show you availability of that room type.
Once you click on that availability calendar youll see that most dates are sold out, but that there are some random stretches of 3 to 7 days that are open. Choose the one of those that suits you best and you can at least get the normal room rate.
Sandals South Coast Resort All
Heres the other one of the Sandals luxury overwater bungalows resorts in Jamaica, and Sandals south coast resort also features some incredible amenities!
Here youll have access to unlimited gourmet dining in the 9 fabulous restaurants, unlimited premium liquors at the bars, overwater hammocks, and the resorts exciting activities like scuba diving.
And wait until you see the over-the-water bungalows offering internal glass floor panels (with guarantee undersea views, spa-style bathrooms, butler service, an outdoor shower, and even a suspended patio with a swim-up platform What else can you ask for?
NOTE: This property is actually rated lower than we would normally recommend, but since there are only 3 overwater bungalow accommodations on the island I wanted to give all the possible options. That being said, there are currently very few reviews, so its not always a good representation of the overall feeling of the resort!
